“I can’t help but be thankful and grateful to my personal trainer, Ms. Diana Nguyen. Decided to go for a workout program with her late last year due to my fluctuating blood pressure and dizziness caused by a lot of reasons, one of them could be the effect of a sedentary lifestyle during the Covid era, stress and the fact that I am stepping into the ‘senior years’. Diana is also a physical therapist student, very caring, and friendly. She puts her personal touch into her work. She helped me attain my balance again- the first time I came for my personal training, was a struggle for me. She maintained a balance of pushing me to my limits and at the same time making sure that I didn’t get too dizzy during the training. I don’t aspire to have a sculpted body like most of the young people working out in the gym with me do, I am just happy that my blood pressure has stabilized and is way much better than I started and my dizziness is still there, but now manageable. My strength was tested when I single-handedly took care of the felled papaya tree and carried a tree trunk (around 40 to 50 lbs) away from the walking path. Just sharing my wellness journey - I still have a long way to go- am just happy that I started it. Thank you for allowing me to share.”
